Twister is a much loved family pet adored by his owners. Like all dogs, he loves going out for his daily walks. Unlike all dogs, Twister is always kept on a leash.
In May 2008, Twister was out for one of his usual walks. Suddenly, and without warning, he was savagely attacked by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The Bull Terrier was not on a lead and worse still, it was not even accompanied by its owner. The dog responsible for this brutal attack (which very nearly cost Twister his life) is allegedly the same dog that frequently terrorises the neigbourhood.
Twister sustained life threatening injuries, including four broken ribs, and was rushed by vet ambulance to the local veterinary clinic. Thankfully Twister is on the road to recovery after receiving significant treatment for his injuries.
Twisters' owners are so incensed by the attack they have started a campaign to deal with the dog responsible and its irresponsible owner. So far the Council's dog warden service has been involved and although the owner has been spoken to by the warden service, it appears the dog has struck again - this time it attacked and injured an elderly woman.
